Easter 2011

New Stock Arrive Over long weekend.....
To our Christian friends, a very Happy Easter day. But for those who doesn't celebrate Easter, we will still like to make your long weekend a little bit more fun. Like many others, we are deeply saddened by the terrible tragedies caused by the recent Tsunami and earthquake in Northern Japan. To make matters worse, the potential health hazard caused by the failed nuclear reactors are simply unwarranted. We remember the victims and hope their loved ones find solace and strength.

The spring 2011 collection is dedicated for the Japanese people. For those who already know, Japan is a very beautiful country with the people are simply amazing. We hope they can overcome this crisis very soon.

ANNUAL SALE RETURNS...

Yes, we know the long weekend is over and almost everyone is whining about work and school (not they are boring of course). Nonetheless, to keep your spirits up, we will commence our annual sale today for a limited time only. Again, all items are very limited and new sale items will be added on to the stock list almost on a daily basis. We even did better than last year's 20% for green sticker-ed items, this year it becomes 30% off... Who knows what next year will bring?

This year good old Santa (if you believe he actually exists and is not your Caucasian neighbour in Santa's suit) goes to grandchild with fun lifestyle products and good fashion sense....

The downside of it is that Santa can't make it free for everybody as costs have been incurred for bringing all his stuffs....

Nonetheless, grandchild strives to make this holiday season fun and happy for all. From 26 Nov, we commence our winter collection with more jackets, cardigans, new handbags among other products.

And with the year coming to an end, we want to say a big thank you and wish everyone a happy and safe holiday.

May I carry your luggage?

Hi everyone.

Everytime that we post a new blog, seems like the first thing we do is to apologise and this case is no different.

We really have to apologise and thank all our members and customers who continue to be so patient and have supported us all these time.

We finally managed to have the luggages courier from Seoul (after a long wait) and they should arrive at the store by late next week.

Nonetheless, these hand carry luggages are very limited in both numbers and colours (no black).

Our apologies as it has been a rather long wait. Our latest spring 2010 collection has finally arrive, to move away from the long, cold and jittery winter up in the northern hemisphere, we have hand picked clothes and dresses that are of thinner and comfortable fabric, trendy pastel colours and vibrant t shirts into the store. Also, to blend into the spring season, more accessories, belts, bags and wallets are brought in from Korea. Again, all numbers are limited ( the prior sentence is not an advertising gimmick).

grandchild annual sale 2010

Hi all, apologies for the long absence with the blog. We have been too busy finding nicer clothes and fun products to be brought into the store, among other things of course :)

First and foremost, we would like to wish everyone a Happy and Properous Lunar New Year and for those lovers out there, hope you had a great Valentine's Day.

We can't really distribute red packets for now but in bid to make you happier, we will commence our once a year SALE straight after the Lunar New Year holiday season.

Sale starts 16 Feb 2010 and will be for limited period only. Stock are again limited.

As the old saying goes, the early bird catches the worm...

The Process

As many of you may have already know or visited, grandchild- bugis junction officially opened on 6th June 2009. It has been a long and arduous process before everything falls into place.

From the application of the shop space to the pre-renovation meetings and eventually to the actual fitting out and putting up all the inventories on display,packing and cleaning..... it is no doubt a journey I will never forget. Just put it in simple terms, it is downright tiring. But all is well, the satisfaction from creating an idea and making it realised is beyond words to describe. And it just makes my day when positive compliments are being showered at me (on a almost daily basis for now haha). Thank you for all those positive remarks and all the more I want to say thank you to those who makes this thing happen. Special mention to interior designer Deeren and Capitaland's staff for contributing so much of their precious time and advice in helping me create the final design for grandchild bugis. If it were not for them, I don't think grandchild bugis will be as attractive as of now. ( attractive, at least for me)

Special thanks also to all the people who worked almost late at night to the wee hours of early morning to get the renovation done on time. The electricians (dunno can I mention their names), Shutter crew, painters etc etc. Finally, I would like to thank again the people who supports and likes grandchild. We will keep our philosophy the same and with added bonus instead. Unlike the past, we will furnish new and nicer clothes almost on a weekly basis and we will continue to provide fun and chic fashion to your lives.
